Isle of Tears // Minsk // Belarus
The memorial unveiled in 1996 and initialy dedicated to the loss in conflict involving Soviet forces in Afghanistan (1979 – 1988) has rightly become a monument to all sons and daughters of Belarus, who died in the battles of all times.
